WOW October New Release - 'Yesterday'

I hope you are all doing ok with all of my scattered holiday photos. I know I am having a lot of fun reliving the memories, one by one.
We are back again this month with a MASSIVE new release over at Words or Whatever. There are heaps of new words, which are just stunning. The moment they hit my stash, they are on a page and gone. The other new addition this release is that in addition to the gorgeous light wood veneer, there is now also a dark wood veneer, and can I say, it is fantastic!!
Anyway, the first of my new release layouts for October is this one. A chance to document information about out 10 day road trip across the USA traveling Route 66.
'Yesterday'
Using light wood veneer 'Yesterday' title (WV057) and chipboard Mini Arrow from Mini Arrow Pack (WOW2008)
A couple of close ups of the gorgeous new pieces. The chipboard arrow has been coloured with a soot black Tim Holtz distress paint. I have also added a {A Flair for Buttons} flair of a road map car which I though was very appropriate to this one.
And yes, I did buy a whole Lillybee Designs paper pack for that one sheet of paper with the 66 and cars on it!! Please tell me all scrappers do this, not just me??!!
I have also coloured the 'yesterday' title with soot black Tim Holtz distress paint. These new pieces are very fine and just gorgeous on a page whether it be as a title, subtitle or accent.
NOTE: Be careful with the fine pieces as they will break easily. The best thing about that is that we stick them down anyway so just join them back together on the page and the problem is solved!
