Sketch Crazy
12:08 PMI have been at it again... More LOs to share from the last week. Nothing much has been achieved this week. It has been freezing in our house this week and with the gorgeous man starting work so very, very early, many hours of broken sleep really doesn't help the inspiration levels!!! Needless to say I have made it to the weekend and couldn't resist a chance to raid Scrapbooking Delights for the perfect alphas!!!
Thanks Sandra for your wonderful eye. I would never have picked the alphas that you did, and they look FANTASTIC....
I seem to have gone sketch crazy this week which seems to be a way to challenge myself, but boost the inspiration levels at the same time. Anyway, who doesn't love a sketch!!!!
"My House" is my take on the 1st July sketch at Stuck?!
"Fantasea Dancers" is my take on the Creative Scrappers Sketch #112. I even spent the time to hand sew the buttons!!!!
Another Creative Scrappers Sketch (#72) for "Beautiful Karon"
"Climbing the Coathanger" is based on a Pagemaps Sketch from April 2007
"Chinese Temple" is a just for fun. The Chinese temple was in Phuket Town, Thailand, so for the album I needed to show that it wasn't traditional Thai. I like the way it came out, for something different.
This one has been my problem child from the day I first printed the holiday photos. What do you do with a photo that just speaks for it self!!!! I had to be so very careful with this that I enlisted the assistance of Sar, Emma & Deslie at last Friday nights crop, to help me pick papers/colours that made the page blend into the background. The twine was an amazing addition and a challenge in it self to make it sit right. Sandra had the amazing eye to help me with the title alphas. I was just over the moon with the initial photo, and now I feel exactly the same about this page. Simple is not my thing, so thank you girls for all of your advice and assistance with this one. I greatly appreciate it!!!
I love this time of the month when we start getting closer to the next kit releases!!! I can't wait to see the new kits and challenges and where they take me next!!
TFL...
