'Family' - Words or Whatever Triple Treat Challenge

If you are a follower of Words or Whatever, you would have noticed that last month we were giving away a free chipboard pack. This pack was a necessity for the April WOW challenge. All of the design team are participating and there have been some fantastic entries put forward so far.
Here is my use of the 'Family' pack that was provided, using the family title, 2 hearts, frame and hashtag.
Family
I love using a black background but I really struggle to photograph it well for display. This is something I will get the hang of eventually. I do find that all colours pop and become a real feature on black.
All of the chipboard pieces have been coloured with 2 different Tim Holtz paints, a burnt red and the new mint. The 'Family' title has been coated in a layer of dimensional magic so that it stand out from the rest. These is also the flair from {A Flair for Buttons}.
I love this photo of all of the kids together. I manage to get one every Christmas, even though there is usually a bribe of presents to get them to sit still and smile. I do wonder how many more years this will work for, especially with the boys. This was the easiest year yet and they were all looking at the camera and smiling. These are fond memories of family Christmases with the McMahon kids!

Loved playing along with this challenge! Your take is fab, you aren't the only one who has trouble photographing a black background, white is so much easier!
