Head First Towards the Long Weekend

10:22 AM

We spent all last weekend finishing our wedding invitations, packaging them up and sending them off. Adding all of the little finishing touches made me happy and glad that I am a scrapper. My glues, double sided tape, cutter and washi tape supply came in handy!! They looked fantastic, so well worth the effort and I have had some beautiful feedback already. We also hadour Footy Clubs annual Presentation Night on Saturday night. It was a great chance to catch up with friends and let our hair down (although it seems I let it down a little too far and paid the price on Sunday!!).

With all of this happening at the moment, I haven't had a chance to unpack from the Savvy Delights Retreat until last night. I'm not sure I made my scrap space better or worse, but it is done now. A bit more of a clean up tonight and I will be right to rock and roll into a long weekend (with a bit of scrappy time)!!

Just to get into the swing of things, here are a lot more shares from Retreat.

Prima Donna Girls
 (Peacock Feather challenge)
Who doesn't love a girly page!!

Strength to Strength
(Mini Kit challenge)
There were some really pretty vintage type items in this mini kit, and they fitted perfectly with this old Shes Savvy kit that is hanging around in my stash. Just added a few Prima flowers and a bit of WOW to the mix.

Snap Everyday Moments
(Snap challenge)
I have been waiting to use these Theresa Collins papers for a while, and they just fitted these photos perfectly. The little cafe that we ate at was reflected clearly in these papers. Still plenty more in the pack to use so cant wait. The WOW just adds that extra dimension to the page too.

Birthday Cuddles
(Wendy's Sketch challenge)
Really funny story about this one. Wendy won her own sketch challenge. Pretty hilarious really, but as Wendy didn't want to win her own challenge I won by default.... And donated the prize to Wendy anyway!!! Using the Retreat We're Savvy Kit.

Bring on Summer
(Hexagon challenge)
How awesome are these hexagons. These are WOW Words or Whatever, and are perfect for just about everything. Mist, paint or cover like I have done here. Gotta love a bit of Echo Park to get the mojo flowing.

For the Record
(Echo Park journal card challenge)
I won this one!! A last minute Sunday morning page, and love how it worked.

Loving all of the new scrappy stock coming into the local stores. I have purchased some new stuff and really want to play. Here's hoping!!

If stopping past leave a bit of love. I love knowing who is visiting!!

TFL xx
