Stress Free Monday!!!
6:28 PMWell, what a week!!! So much to do, so little time, high stress levels with everything going on at this time of year, then you come to the i98FM Camp Quality Convoy for Kids, and everything is worth the efforts!!! Just to see one of those sick children with a smile is amazing, but the community support that makes it what it is, is even more overwhelming.
Over 700 trucks and just under 700 motor bikes this year sees another record on the day, but the record that really counts is the money raised for these children and their families. We have already see the $1 Million mark hit this year (number 6), even before a truck engine was turned on on the day, all of which goes to our local Camp Quality branch to put smiles on our childrens faces. I could never imagine living with such an insidious disease yet these children just take it in their stride. If you are ever lucky enough to listen to one of these precious little hero's, you will understand what positive thinking is really all about.
It is such an emotional day with an amazing community which we are so very proud to be a part of. Here are a couple of pics from the day.
