A Month of Cards - August 2013

7:30 PM

We have so many birthdays going on these days and I love making cards. I use these to get my mojo flowing when I am not in the mindset to complete a 12x12 layout.

This being the case I have transferred some of my latest layout techniques to cards.

'Birthday Wishes'
Using Words or Whatever Wood Veneer Mini Bicycle, distress paints, a grunge stamp with black stayz-on, enamel dots, title spot, foil card, chipboard frame and string.

'Happy Birthday to You!'
Using distress paint, Words or Whatever chipboard pinwheels, stamp with black stayz-on, washi tape, title spot, brads, gel pens, string and shipping tag.

'Happy Happy Birthday'
Using Words or Whatever Stars, Bronze Texture Cream, title spot, 'Celebrate' chipboard piece, pattern paper, string, brads, staples and sharpie marker.

The texture cream is very similar texture paste, yet already coloured and more of a cream than a paste as the name implies. It was really easy to work with and made for a fantastic effect on the chipboard.

'Make it the Best Day Ever'
Using pattern paper, 3x4 Card, string and journal pen.

Thanks for calling past and checking out what I have been up to lately. We are under a week now to the Savvy Delights Retreat and I am so excited. A long weekend of scrapping with friends I only get to see IRL once a year. I can't wait.
