1 Hour Challenge - Love Life

On Tuesday night, the answer to that question was, apparently to get myself around looking at the same photos twice, I set myself a challenge. 1 hour. That is all. To see what I could create. And to hold myself to it, I made it public on facebook.

Using Chipboard Mini Pennant Banner (WOW1830) and Wood Veneer Love (WV023)
Firstly I put a very light layer of gesso onto the pattern paper background. I then went to the trusty Staz-on and a stamp for the added affect to the background.
I started piecing together this layout while waiting for the gesso to dry. I rummaged through my stash and pulled out the bits and pieces I wanted to use on this page. Once everything in the background layers was dry I started placing items onto the page and sticking down without really thinking too much about it.
A couple of the items of note are the chipboard mini pennant banners which I have coloured with a yellow Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and the wood veneer with at black Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
I have used a couple of my latest crazy, flair buttons, from {A Flair for Buttons}. I love how these just fit into a page so easily. On so many occasions I could pick a handful that would work the page and have the trouble of choosing the ones to use!
I felt this page was missing something. I wasn't looking right, so I added my journalling onto the background and made a feature of it. To add to this I have added a bit of black cotton to soften up the page.
1 hour and 5 minutes later, I am impressed with my result. I sure beat flicking through the same photos over and over and getting no where!

LOVE this page!! I really do need to time limit myself, feel like my pages take forever! (and often they do!)I NEED that camera washi, where is that from? And I 100% agree about flair, in love!
